Uniform microporous crystalline adsorbents for precise, deep dehydration and gas separation.
Molecular sieves are adsorbents composed of crystalline silicates (sodium aluminosilicate and calcium aluminosilicate) — inorganic porous crystalline materials with a uniform microporous structure. Supplied as yellowish-brown granules in spherical or rod form.
| Type | Pore Size | Base | Key Feature |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3A | 3 Å (0.3 nm) | Potassium-exchanged Type A | Strong preferential water adsorption, very high precision |
| 4A | 4 Å (0.4 nm) | Sodium Type A | Adsorbs < 4 Å molecules only; high precision at trace moisture |
| 5A | 5 Å (0.5 nm) | Calcium-exchanged Type A | n-/iso-paraffin separation, PSA, water + CO2 co-adsorption |
| 13X | 10 Å (1 nm) | Sodium Type X | Larger capacity, lower dew point; water + CO2 / H2S co-adsorption |
