Thin layer chromatography silica gel plate is made by spraying high-purity TLC silica gel powder with a measured amount of binder. The plate surface is pure white, smooth, uniform and fine. Main component SiO2·nH2O, chemically stable; it does not react with other acids or bases except strong bases and hydrofluoric acid.
